Three main stages of harvesting Timber.

This is where we seperate the men from the boys, the experienced from the beginner and the expert from the novice.  All my operators and sawmen are seasoned professionals and in addition, my friends. We've worked together for years on countless woodlots across the country. From start to finish we strive to please you the landowner, to give and gain respect as an accountable team.

There are a few options we have as to which machines will perform best on your woodland. Having a choice can make a huge impact on surface disruption, tree and root zone damage.  Having respectful and experienced cutters will greatly limit the damages to trees left to grow for future harvests.

Here we also have options. Whether your site offers a small or large log landing sites we can provide a way to maximize your gains.

Grading and cleanup.

Most of the time we have a dozer on the job to help with skid trail and landing site creation and keeping other processes moving smoothly. If there is not we will bring one in if needed for grading the main skid trails and landing during clean-up. Our contracts specify that all main skid and haul trails are to be left free of debris and graded free of deep rutting. The same goes with the log landing with the addition of seeding and mulch there if needed. Most people know that it's hard to find anyone that completely finishes any job. Well let me tell you folks, this is one job you will want someone that will definately finish. If your skid trails are left brushed in with tree tops and they are laying on top of skidder ruts you may never be able to use those spaces for years to come.
